Pre Processing

For example certain private data from a pdf file could be filtered and not be sent to Open AI or another AI for the analysis of the content which is allowed to be used.

Hopefully the api option for custom AI can be added

Because I feel too many good models, China can not use, need to proxy forwarding to use on. These models are good and fast, very few software does not support, I hope to add, I do not know if it is easy to realize. But for Chinese users, it's really a necessity, thanks!

Smart Collections - AI-Powered Auto-Organization

Automatically organize your files into intelligent virtual folders based on content, without moving the actual files. Smart Collections would analyze your renamed files and create dynamic groups like "Q4 2024 Invoices", "Client ABC Documents", or "Receipts Over $100". Use Cases: Accountants: Auto-group invoices by client, month, or amount ranges Researchers: Collection for papers by topic, author, or publication year Businesses: Automatic client folders that update as new files are processed Anyone: "Recent Receipts", "This Month's Documents", "Large Files" How it works: AI analyzes file content and metadata after renaming Suggests and creates virtual collections in the sidebar Collections update automatically as new files match criteria Click a collection to instantly view all matching files

Append AI-generated text to original filename

Please consider adding an option to append the AI-generated output to the original filename. Use case: I use Written Instructions to analyze the content of the image, choose keywords that describe it, and append keywords at the end of the original unchanged filename. It seems not to work no matter what model I choose or what prompt I write, I cannot get the original filename. It seems like in Written Instructions the model has no access to the original filename and ignores all related instructions. Suggested solutions: Pass the original filename to the model Add Filename format section after Instructions in Written Instructions Thanks for considering, J

Feature suggestion: Allow extracting more fields than are used for renaming

It might improve accuracy if we could instruct the LLM to extract several fields and then use only a subset for renaming. For instance, extract: First_Author_Last_Name, First_Author_First_Name, Year, Title, Subtitle, First_sentence_of_the_first_paragraph, Header, and then use for naming the file only: [YYYY]_[First_Author_Last_Name]_[Title]. This might improve accuracy. In my sample of PDFs LLMs struggle with extracting Title when a subtitle or a name of the series is close to the title (incorrectly inferred title 20-30% of the time). If I am not mistaken, currently the “unused” fields to extract are being automatically removed from a template. 🧑‍🔬

Feature suggestion: preview of LLM "thinking" for debugging Presets

It would be super helpful to get a sneak peek of what an LLM decides step by step or what it is “thinking”. Right now, we’re debugging Presets “in the dark”. It seems like some templates or custom prompts aren’t working on certain files no matter what (for now, I tested on PDFs only). 🧑‍🔬

Folder Renaming Support

Description: Introduce an explicit review step before any AI-suggested renames are applied. After analysis (either content-based or name-based), the application will display a preview showing the original name alongside the proposed new name for each selected item. Users will be able to approve individual suggestions, manually edit them, or choose to skip renaming specific items before applying the changes in batch. Key Capabilities: Display original vs. suggested names in the UI. Allow users to approve/reject/edit individual suggestions. Provide a mechanism to apply approved/edited renames to the selected batch.

Extract Data into Table or Sheet

Convert unstructured file content into structured rows and columns. The feature reads the selected files, identifies key fields, and outputs a clean table that users can export or continue editing. Example Use Cases: • Turn invoices into a bookkeeping sheet. • Collect line items from receipts. • Extract headings, authors, and keywords from academic papers.
