Feature Request

Build multi-step automation workflows for complex filing needs. Chain together renaming, moving, tagging, and external integrations into reusable workflows.

Use Cases:

  • Rename invoice → Move to folder → Update spreadsheet → Notify team

  • Process receipt → If over $X → Flag for review → Archive copy

  • Scan document → Extract data → Create calendar event → File by date

Building Blocks:

  • Triggers: New file, schedule, manual, hotkey

  • Conditions: Content type, amounts, dates, file properties

  • Actions: Rename, move, tag, export, run script, webhook

  • Integrations: Shortcuts, AppleScript, webhooks, email

    The ability to work with multiple files in a single workflow would be pretty powerful. For instance, I’d like to be able to create table of contents files, based on all the files in a directory.

    I’d also like to be able to create queryable sidecar files to contain metadata extracted from the contents of a document. Or to aggregate a bunch of receipts into a CSV of transactions to import into a budget app.
