On my first run of the app, ran 3 operations renaming ~20 files, tweaking the prompt each time. On the 4th rename, it crashed with the pinwheel, the Force Quit Applications popped-up and NameQuick was using 116GB of memory! I had to reboot. M4 Mac Pro latest iOS Tahoe 26.0.1.

Very sorry about this! There must be a memory leak. I will pick this up right away.

To help me track down exactly what happened, could you please check if macOS captured a crash or hang report for NameQuick and send it over?
Open Finder and choose Go → Go to Folder…
Paste this path and press Return: ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
Look for files whose names start with NameQuick_ and have a .crash or .hang extension from around the time of the issue.
If you find any, could you zip those files and send them via mail support@namequick.cc ?
If you don’t see any NameQuick_ entries but do see recent spindump files from the same time window, those are also useful.
